With a background that includes strength training, sports-specific conditioning, varsity level competition and coaching, plus extensive experience in rehabilitation, Katherine's approach is grounded in science. EXPERIENCE

Katherine currently operates her own personal training business. Previously, she was on staff at the Sports Training Institute and Pumping Iron Gym in New York City. She also spent two years as a consultant to World Gym in New York, involved in management, sales, marketing & operations. Her long-term success in the industry has enabled her to develop a vast network of fitness and business professionals. She has a broad spectrum of clients and has trained people at all levels of fitness.


METHOD

Katherine's method avoids the trendy and applies the mechanics of exercise, in a focused, high intensity program designed specifically for each individual. She has an intuitive ability to "size up" a person's physique and zero in on a customized, methodical approach to achieve maximum physical potential. She utilizes a varied routine, which includes efficient muscle mechanics, cardiovascular interval training, peripheral heart action (PHA) circuits, functional strength training, plyometrics, core stability and dynamic flexibility, as well as body fueling for ideal body composition. What sets Katherine's approach apart from other training programs is her ability to fully utilize each session. Every minute is optimized and employed to its full capacity. It is for this reason that over 50% of KAT's clients have trained with her for the past 15 years!
